Changing of the Guard

Is it really almost September already?

Where has the summer gone?

(Oh, yeah, to Wooden Boat Show, bread demos, craft demos, classes and Hjordis sails.)

I know we've still got plenty of time left, even if the days are slowly dwindling in lenth, but...

Just makes star-gazing that much easier, right?

Well, with the changing of the seasons comes a new round of intern rotations.  Mike, Lucy and I are each taking turns specializing for three months in registrar, school store, and communications duties.  And it seems that about three months ago was when I got to take over the blog from Lucy, so next week you will start hearing from Mike, until November when we all leave.

Where does the time go anyway?

  1. From one blogger to another (and teacher at the folk school)...This is not really a comment on the post about time flying, but rather one about the layout of the blog itself. Please increase the width of the blog so the viewer doesn't have to scroll horizontally to see all that's printed. And also, could you post a subscription box so we can follow the blog, please? I'd like to receive mine via email not RSS, but I didn't see that option either. Thanks, see you all soon for my chair caning class and antler basket classes!

  2. Whoops! Just wasn't looking, found the subscription box on the page before the blog. Was expecting it to be at the top right hand corner, like most are, sorry. System wouldn't let me delete that last post though, not sure what's up with that. Did just subscribe via email and looking forward to seeing more posts and pictures. The Wicker Woman-Cathryn Peters
